How Does generic Boniva work?

Boniva generic can be classified into the category of medications called bisphosphonates. If the patient is on the once a month dosage and forgets to take it on the prescribed date, it should be taken first thing in the morning the day after she has remembered that she has missed the dose. However if the next dose is only a week away from the missed dose, skip the missed dose and wait until the week is over to take the scheduled dose. Two tablets should never be taken within a week. And if it is the injection that has been missed, talk to the doctor about an appointment for the missed injection.
